Ms. Chiu serves on the faculties of Nueva School Hillsborough, Crowden Music Center in Berkeley, CSMA in Mountain View. She also teaches select students in her private studio in San Francisco.
With more than 20 years of experience as a piano teacher, combined with her diverse training background, Ms. Chiu is known for her supportive yet disciplinary teaching style. She tailors lessons to individual needs, introduces fundamental technique through classical repertiore. Students especially appreciate her clear instructions, patience and dedication to piano teaching.
Mandy is aspired to be an instructor who inspires and reinvigorates music pursuit. She believes in incremental goals and consistent practice. Students in her studio have the opportunity to play in two student recitals, participate in Royal Conservatory Music Development Program or ABRSM annual exams, prepare for music scholarship auditions in the Bay Area.

Qualifications:
Mandy holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Boston University. During the course of her career Mandy played for Boston Ballet School, Houston Ballet Company, American Ballet Theater School and Alvin Ailey in New York. Mandy has prepared numerous students for international examinations, competitions and scholarships including CSMA Merit Scholarship, Valley Christian School in San Jose and San Francisco Conservatory audition.
