Kevin and I decided to bring our cello and piano duo program to Taipei music lovers, since we received so many positive feedback from our audience in California after our Portola Valley concert. Kevin and I had an amazing time playing our Duo recital at the Valley Presbyterian Church, it was one of the most moving performing experience I’ve ever had. I could not dream a better space for us to perform our repertoire: the glass panel look out to the majestic redwood forest as the backdropped to the dark and sensual sound of Barber; the sun gradually sets as the de Falla melancholic melody suspends long above us. Finally our program ends with Poulenc’s light-hearted whimsical dialogues between cello and piano. Continue reading >
